Minister for Labour, Manpower and Overseas Pakistanis Abdul Sattar Laleka will inaugurate office of Protectors of Emigrants, here on February 10 at 11.30 am.
The minister had issued instructions for opening of the offices of Protectors of Emigrants at Malakand in the province of NWFP and at Multan in Punjab to meet the target for providing overseas employment to 350,000 workers this year.
The office of Protector of Emigrants has been set up and is functioning at Malakand.
According to a press release, the opening of Protectors of Emigrants' office at Multan was the cherished demand of Overseas Employment Promoters and it shall prove to be the milestone in prosperity of the people of the area by providing facilities and opportunities for the poor to get employment abroad.
It said the government is taking steps to arrange employment abroad to as many Pakistanis as possible.
