Terming Kashmiris as main party to Kashmir issue, Vice President Kashmir Committee Jeddah, Zafar Iqbal Chaudhry said on Friday that Kashmiris should also be included in talks for durable and lasting resolution of Kashmir issue.
"Kashmir is not a territorial dispute but an issue of the future of Kashmiris. Hence, they should be included in the talks for the settlement of Kashmir," he told APP.
He said there are three parties of Kashmir dispute which are Pakistan, India and Kashmiris adding, any resolution to Kashmir dispute will not be durable without the participation of Kashmiris.
Zafar Iqbal, who is on a week long visit, said that Pakistani community living in Saudi Arabia are paying their role for highlighting Kashmir issue.
"We hold discussions and meetings with people belonging to different walks of life in a bid to project this important issue their," he added. He said important Kashmiri leaders are also invited to participate in these discussions to highlight the issue.
To a question he said Kashmiri people are propelling an indigenous freedom struggle in accordance with the resolution of United Nations Security Council.
