Pakistan Muslim League (PML) president Chaudhry Shujaat Hussain has said that every effort will be made to bring the murderer of Shahrukh Waheed, son of a prominent trader of Islamabad, Abdul Waheed, to justice.
He was speaking at the residence of Abdul Waheed where he gone to condole the death of his son. He strongly condemned the brutal murder of Shahruk and termed it an act against humanity.
He assured the deceased family that the murderer would be awarded severe punishment. MNA Ejazul Haq and Senator Shahzad Waseem also visited the residence of Abbul Waheed for condolence.
ICCI president Zuhair Ahmed Malik, former presidents Khalid Javed Munawar and Mughal Siddique Butt were also present.
Sixteen-year-old Shahrukh was kidnapped by Bilal Ashgar, an employee of the Poly Clinic Hospital, for ransom. He later killed him despite having being received the ransom.
The police had arrested the killer after several days of hard work and investigations are under way to complete legal requirements.
