Prime Minister Mir Zafarullah Khan Jamali on Wednesday said that Pakistan Muslim League believes in the empowerment of its workers who are the real strength of the party.
He expressed these views in a meeting with Secretary General PML, Salim Saifullah Khan and former Federal Minister Anwar Saifullah Khan who jointly called on him at Prime Minister's Secretariat.
The meeting discussed organisational matters of PML at central and provincial levels.
The Prime Minister said that the democratic institutions are gradually taking roots in the country.
He said the democratic institutions have worked during the last one-year and are expected to gain further strength in the days ahead.
The Government's one year performance proves beyond any doubt that it is tolerant, accommodative and magnanimous specially with regard to tolerating political dissent, he added. Later on, head of Khosa tribe Sardar Moqeem Khan Khosa also called on the Prime Minister.
He invited him to hold a public rally at Jaccobabad and requested for special funds for the development of the area. Both the leaders also discussed organisational and unification matters of PML in Sindh.
