Bearish trend was observed at the Islamabad Stock Exchange (ISE), where selling-pressure in hot favourite moved the entire ready-board in downward direction amid decrease in index.
The ISE network index was minus by 139.57 points as the price-based indicator moved from 1,0207.50 to 1,0067.93 points. The overall turnover amounted to 5,133,600 shares as compared to previous volume of 4,953,100 shares.
The total 144 companies participated in buying and selling activity. Majority of stocks (104) landed in negative territory, 36 showed plus signs while four stocks refused to observe any change.
The volume of Hubco was 1,388,000 shares as compared to previous turnover of 1,309,000 shares.
The volume of Pakistan Telecommunication Company Limited (PTCL) was 958,000 shares as compared to previous turnover of 906,000 shares. The volume of Fauji Fertiliser was 914,500 shares.
