Geologist's murder condemned

The staff of the Punjab University's Institute of Geology condemned assassination of Naseemuddin, a renowned geologist and old graduate of the institute.
In an emergent meeting, held here on Friday under the chair of director of the Institute, Professor Umar Farooq, they offered Fateha and termed the assassination a heinous crime.
The staff demanded immediate apprehension of the culprits and punishment to them according to the law.
The participants expressed sympathy with the bereaved family and demanded of the government to compensate them accordingly.
