Hashoo Group has planned a state-of-the-art residential project in the proximity of Gwadar at a cost of roughly Rs 2.5 billion.
The project is being developed keeping in view the specific needs of modern civilisation, said Sadruddin Hashwani, Chairman of Hashoo Group, at the launching ceremony of 'Golden Palms Estate', here on Wednesday.
He said, "By 2005, two Pearl Continental Hotels, one at Gwadar and the other at Muzaffarabad would be completed and linked with the existing chain of country's largest hospitality group."
He said, "We will never compromise on quality of construction which will be comparable with any construction in the world. Our new residential project offers plots of 1,000 and 2,500 square yards situated in the heart of Gwadar which is the city of future."
Hashwani said, "Gwadar would soon become the commercial hub in the region due to its strategic location, free port status and transhipment facilities."
He said that the project was designed by Meinhardt, an international multidisciplinary consultancy firm, and the project would have amenities and facilities to match any world class residential complex.
Stephan Jeffery of Meinhardt said that Gwadar would have a fully developed infrastructure soon, with airport, highway, railway facility and a hotel of Pearl Continental chain.
The 'Golden Palms' project has been specially designed with many unique features, he added.
The ceremony was also attended by many dignitaries and a large number of people from different walks of life.
