PLF files appeal against referendum

President Pakistan Lawyers' Forum has filed an appeal in the Supreme Court against holding of presidential referendum.
The petitioner, A.K. Dogar, contended that the referendum in question was illegal, unconstitutional and without lawful authority.
He said that the respondent got conducted the referendum only to continue his stay in office. He, therefore, prayed to the court to declare the referendum in question as illegal, unconstitutional and without lawful authority.
The petitioner also prayed to the court to declare as null and void the results of referendum in question.
