Sindh Chief Minister Ali Muhammad Maher has said that a flexible and liberal industrial policy has been introduced for the promotion and advancement of the industrial sector of Sindh Province.
Talking to journalists on Thursday at the residence of Provincial Industries and Investment Minister Muhammad Ajmal Cheema he added that investment-friendly has been introduced for ensuring the foreign investment and establishment of new industrial units in the Province.
The Sindh Chief Minister said government has announced various incentives and concessions for attracting foreign investors for setting up new industrial projects and industrial units.
Ali Muhammad Maher said that the Sindh government was making adequate efforts for further accelerating the pace of business activities aimed at bringing industrial revolution in Sindh Province on top priority basis. Due to effective policies of the government there no unrest of any kind as result of which the business activities are at peak and stock exchange is increasing day by day he said.
The Sindh Chief Minister disclosed that strategy in being given final touches for developing mutual understanding among the business community of Sindh and Punjab.
The step has been taken to boost trade activities as well as bringing them closer while arrangements of exchange of delegations of business community of Sindh and Punjab are being made he added.
The Sindh Chief Minister revealed that exporters delegation of Sialkot would visit Sindh in near future.
The Sindh Chief Minister said that district governments are successfully functioning and rendering laudable services for the betterment of the masses and development of the Sindh.
Ali Muhammad Maher said that Sindh government has made detailed plan for maintaining law and order during Muharram and nobody would be allowed to disrupt the peaceful environment and sanctity of Muharram will be maintained at all cost and miscreants would be dealt with iron hand.
Apart from this the Sindh government has also focused its special attention on eliminating the social evils and main attention has been accorded on weeding out the menace of Karo Kari from the Province he said.
The Sindh Chief Minister said that for elimination of Karo Kari system all channels and resources are being mobilised and we are actively considering for making law for vanishing this hazard on permanent basis.
The rights of women folk would be protected at all cost and nobody would be permitted to kill or to take law in hand he added.
Ali Muhammad Maher disclosed that they're is no shortage of Ata in any part of the Sindh and the government has sufficient stock of wheat.
The Provincial Industries and Investment Minister Muhammad Ajmal Cheema, Tehsil Nazim Muhammad Akmal Cheema and leading exporters were also present on the occasion.
