The competent authority in consultation with Provincial Selection Board (PSB) has promoted Dr Khurshid Ahmad and Dr Jalil ur Rehman of Health Department from BS-19 to BS-20 with immediate effect.
These officers on promotion will remain on probation for a period of one year.
Consequently Dr Khurshid Ahmad has been posted as Project Director, Women Health Project, NWFP while Dr Jalil ur Rehman has been assigned the responsibilities of Director General Health Services, NWFP.
Similarly, the Provincial government has ordered certain postings and transfers of officers of Irrigation and Power Department NWFP in the public interest with immediate effect.
According to details Ayub Jan (BS-19) Superintending Engineer, Northern Irrigation Circle, Mardan has been transferred and asked to report to the office of Secretary, Irrigation for further posting while Masood Pervaiz Qureshi (BS-18) Deputy Secretary (Tech) Irrigation and Power Department has been transferred and posted as Superintending Engineer, Northern Irrigation Circle, Mardan (in his own pay and scale) and Alamzeb Khan, Deputy Director National Drainage Programme Peshawar has been transferred and made as Deputy Secretary (Tech) Irrigation and Power Department (in his own pay and scale).
Moreover, the Provincial government has ordered the postings and transfers of police officers in the public interest with immediate effect. According to details Awal Khan (PSP BS-18) ASP/Pabbi, Nowshera (on promotion as SP BS-18) has been transferred and posted as S.P. Security, Special Branch Peshawar, Badar Farukh (PSP BS-18) OSD, E&A Department NWFP has been transferred and made S.P. Lakki Marwat, Gul Said Khan Afridi (Provl Officer BS-18) S.P. Lakki Marwat has been transferred and posted as S.P. Hqrs. CCP Peshawar while Zafarullah Khan (Provl Officer BS-18) S.P. Hqrs. CCP Peshawar has been transferred and posted as S.P. Security CCP Peshawar.
Likewise in pursuance of Government of Pakistan, Establishment Divisions Notification, DMG Officers including Ms Saadia Sarwat Jawaid, Muhammad Haroonur Rafiq and Captain Usman Gul (Retd) have been promoted to BS-18 with effect from 9th February 2004 and posted as Deputy Secretary, Finance Department, OSD E&AD NWFP and Deputy Secretary, Industries Department, respectively.
