The Central Board of Revenue (CBR) has given duty drawback on export of plastic mats and pottery tableware from February 20, 2004.
In this regard, the CBR has amended standard SRO 415(I)/2001 through SRO.123(I)/2004 and SRO.124(I)/2004 here on Saturday.
The duty drawback on the export of plastic mats will be 11.74 percent of the fob value or Rs 8.80 per kilogram whichever is less.
The imported raw materials include polypropylene and pigments (master-batch colours).
The duty drawback on the export of all types of pottery tableware will be 3.03 percent of the fob value.
The CBR has informed collectors of customs that the refund of custom duty on the export of pottery tableware will only be admissible to manufacturers-cum-exporters.
