At least 24 rockets were fired on a gas field operated by Pakistan Petroleum Limited on Monday, damaging pipelines, officials said.
They suspected tribesmen were behind the attack in the Sui region in Balochistan. Officials said no one was hurt.
Officials said Monday's attack involved the highest number of rockets fired in a single day in recent months.
"There were no casualties but pipelines from the three wells were damaged in the attack," a local official told Reuters by telephone.
Security for oil and gas companies in Balochistan has long been a cause of concern for the government and operators.
