Bears remained in the front seat on the Islamabad Stock Exchange (ISE) where equities suffered across the board losses amid the increase in the index.
The ISE network index was down by 163.01 points as the rate-based indicator moved from 10,084.22 to 9,921.21 points.
The overall turnover amounted to 4,078,000 shares as compared to previous volume of 3,321,100 shares.
The total 148 companies participated in buying and selling activity. Majority of stocks (118) closed in negative territory, 29 showed positive signs, while one company remained pegged to its overnight levels.
The volume of Pakistan Oilfields was 1,211,800 shares as compared to previous turnover of 916,900 shares.
The volume of PSO was 813,700 shares as compared to previous turnover of 1,193,700 shares. The volume of Pakistan Telecommunication Company Limited (PTCL) was 661,500 shares.
