Sindh Governor, Dr Ishrat-ul-Ibad Khan has said that observance of a mourning day by Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) on the brutal murder of two innocent girls, was in fact an expression of grief and sorrow.
He said as far as he knew the appeal for mourning was peaceful and would not affected the daily life.
He was talking to newsmen at a dinner hosted in his honour at the residence of prominent industrialist Khalid Tawab on Tuesday.
To a question, the governor said that their TV channels should give factual situation in the interest of country. On the occasion the governor paid the glowing tributes to industrialists and businessmen of the province and said that he believed that the position Pakistan enjoyed that day was because of them.
