The Karachi Port handled 75,660 tonnes of cargo including 52,557 tonnes import and 23,103 tonnes export cargo during last 24 hours ending at 0700 hours on Saturday.
The cargo comprised of 18,916 tonnes dry and 56,744 tonnes liquid cargo.
Four ships namely Al Ihsaa, Flame, Keefan and Bom Ju sailed to sea during the report period.
Three vessels viz Iran Modares, Iran Eghbal and Northern Bell are currently at the berths.
M. V. Oriental Bright expected to sail on Saturday, while M. V. Northern Bell is expected to sail on Sunday.
Three ships namely Kota Indha, Nur Yanbu and Orient Stride due to arrive on Saturday, while eight vessels viz Nikalas, Bow Merkur, Chem Adriatic, Chembulk Savannah, Kota Perabu, Bai Yun He, Breeze and Nadia-3 are due to arrive on Sunday.
Two ships namely Warbah and M. T. Johar are due to arrive on Monday.
A total cargo volume of 50,502 tonnes including 37,361 tonnes import and 13,141 tonnes export cargo was handled during last 24 hours ending at 0800 hours on Saturday.
The cargo comprised of 8,220 tonnes edible oil; 3,012 tonnes chemicals and 39,270 tonnes containerised cargo.
Three ships namely Qem Star, MSC Socotra and Pearl of Fujarah sailed to sea during the report period, while three more ships namely E. R. Sydney, Chembulk Savannah and Nor Asia Noor are expected to sail on Saturday.
A total of four vessels viz Blue Zenith, Federal Hudson, Mare Caspium and Oriental are currently at the outer anchorage.
Container vessel Mare Caspium due to take berth on Saturday.
Container vessel Santa Felisita is due to arrive on Sunday.
