Chief Minister Punjab Chaudhry Pervaiz Elahi stated here on Thursday that government has decided to upgrade all the health institutions in the Punjab and to provide additional facilities on priority basis.
He said that government was acting on a comprehensive programme for the improvement of medical education and was making all out efforts in organising primary health care system in the Province. 'A women health project has also been initiated to give special attention to the women health care in Punjab', he added.
Referring to steps regarding environmental pollution, he said that the government was making efforts in this regard. He said that the government was also taking care of the disable children and would establish vocation schools for them.
