Sindh Minister for Information Technology (IT) Syed Mustafa Kamal on Thursday met the organisers of the ITCN Asia-2004 which is scheduled to be held from August 9 to 11 at Karachi Expo center.
The high level meeting was also attended by the officials of Sindh IT Board and the E-Commerce Gateway representatives.
On the occasion, the minister assured his full support towards organisations of this event.
President, Atiq-ur-Rehman, Director, Marketing and Technology Dr Khursheed Nizam and Executive Director Kamran Saeed represented E-Commerce Gateway. Director Sindh IT Board Aftab Alam also attend the meeting.
The minister appreciated the organisers for their efforts towards promoting the local industries and seeking foreign investment in the country by organising such events.
He also confirmed his Department's comprehensive participation in the ITCN Asia 2004 and advised the organisers to come up with more events such as this.
The minister assured the organisers his complete support on behalf of his department.
He also assured full support for ITCN Saudi Arabia 2004 and said that he would talk to the Saudi counterparts for their support in this regard.
Dr Khursheed Nizam presented a plaque of International Trade and Industry Fair-ITIF Asia 2004 to the minister and also highlighted the new upcoming events of E-Commerce Gateway.
