The Islamic Chamber of Commerce and Industry (ICCI) will be organising 2nd International Conference on Investment and Privatisation at Sharm-El-Sheikh city of Egypt on April 29-30.
Secretary General ICCI, Aqeel A. Al-Jaseem stated this while talking to newsmen here on Friday.
He said that the conference has been designed with the objectives to improve the investment and privatisation synergies in the region, and might be seen as a timely move of considerable economic importance, as presently OIC countries are looking for alternative avenues for safe and profitable investment opportunities.
He invited businessmen from Pakistan to attend this conference. Besides, the ICCI has planned to hold a business conference for businesswomen in UAE by October this year.
This is aimed at creating awareness that Muslim women were not behind their male counterparts in any field and Islam gives equal rights to female segment of the society, he concluded.
