Indian Deputy Prime Minister, L K Advani on Sunday said if Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee goes to Lahore to witness the one-day cricket match between India and Pakistan, it would bring further normalisation in relations between the two countries.
"If there is any such move, it will be a further step in improving ties between the two countries," Advani said while replying to a question by the newsmen in Shimoga (Karnataka).
On confidence building measures between the two countries, the Deputy Prime Minister said, "these measures help in improving relations."
To a query about peaceful conduct of the Karachi one-day match, Advani said, "these are good indications."
