District Nazim, Chaudhry Zahid Nazir has said that Faisalabad would be made a model district by equally developing and beautifying each and every nook and corner of alt the areas.
He expressed these views while addressing the participants of a function held in connection with the inauguration of the construction work of Imtiaz Shaheed Road in Madina Town.
Union Nazim Shaikh Abdul Ashfaque, Naib Nazim Sardar Nadeem Sadiq Dogar, Councillors, Director General Faisalabad Development Authority Raja Safdar Hussain, Director Engineering FDA Rashed Majeed, elite of the area and people in a large number were also present on this occasion.
The District Nazim said that he was determined to develop the entire Madina Town area that was why huge funds of more than Rs 15 million had been earmarked for that purpose.
He also announced an amount of more than Rs 10 million for providing Sui gas, sewerage and repairing of different roads in Madina Town.
He said that soling work of almost all the lanes and streets of the area had since been completed and more facilities would be provided to the people of that area.
Nazim Union Council No.219, Shaikh Abdul Ashfaque also addressed on this occasion and said that the district Nazim was paying special attention towards the development of the area for which he himself, his colleagues and people of the area were thankful to him.
Earlier, District Nazim inaugurated the project of laying a sewer line in Satellite Town, Union Council No.255 near Abdullah Pul.
This project would cost an amount of Rs 1.550 million and the amount to meet the expenditure had been provided out of the District Development funds.
On completion, more than 25,000 persons would be benefited by this project. On this occasion, the District Nazim also promised to extend the sewerage facilities up to Abdullah Pul and provision of Sui gas in the area.

Hameed and Pir Mushtaq Ahmad also expressed their views and thanked the district Nazim for providing sewerage and other facilities to the people of the area.
