On completion of one year of US occupation on Iraq, tens of millions of people will stage demonstrations, organise rallies in the world on March 20 against the expansionism, war phobia, militarisation, nuclearisation policies of major countries.
"We would organise rallies and demonstrations in 20 cities of Pakistan at the call of Global Anti-War Movement (GAWM), World Social Forum (WSF)-2004 to express solidarity with the people of Iraq, Afghanistan and other states," said Suhail Javed organiser of Labour Party Pakistan (LPP).
He said Labour Party would stage demonstrations in Karachi, Lahore, Rawalpindi, Hyderabad, Faisalabad, Multan, Quetta, Peshawar, Dera Ghazi Khan, Bahawalpur, Gujranwala, Sargodha and eight other cities to join the international protest against the aggression of United States.
He further said that Anti-war committees are being organised in the country with the collaboration of political, social and radical groups.
