Wapda satisfied with Iesco working

Chairman Wapda Tariq Hamid expressed his satisfaction over the performance of Islamabad Electric Supply Company (Iesco).
Addressing a meeting of the Iesco board of directors here on Friday, the Wapda chief said, "the Iesco has a distinction over other power distribution companies as its services are provided to foreign embassies, important government and private departments."
He appreciated smooth supply of power to a huge area stretched from hilly location of Murree to Chakwal, Talagang and Attock to Jhelum.
Earlier, chief executive officer Iesco Syed Adeeb-ul-Hassan briefed the Wapda chief about the performance of the company.
The meeting was also attended by executive directors Mohammad Amjad, Suleman Iqbal, Mohsin Khalid and S S Tanveer Hussain.
