All Pakistan Clerk Association (APCA) has decided to hold protest rallies and demonstrations across Pakistan in order to protest against unavailability of basic civic facilities to the masses.
The announcement was made in an association meeting held under the chairmanship of APCA President Haji Fazal Mabood.
Punjab APCA President Chaudhry Muhammad Afzal, Sindh President Syed Aman Mishwani, Secretary General Zulfikar Khan, Balochistan APCA President Muhammad Yousuf and others participated in the meeting.
The meeting expressed concern over not considering the charter of demands, which the APCA had presented to the government.
However, the meeting decided to put to order another charter of demand asking the government to hold talks on the provisions of it by April 15.
It was also decided that black flags would be hoisted over public office buildings if the government once again neglected the demands of the clerks' community.
The meeting also demanded increase in the salaries of the clerks.
