Pak Maktab School Ghulam Muhammadabad working under the arrangement of social welfare department Faisalabad has been upgraded and for that purpose social welfare department Punjab has accorded approval for the construction of an additional building with an estimated expenditure of Rs 2.285 million.
This was stated by Manager Sanatzar/Secretary Advisory Committee Pak Maktab School Syed Ali Aqdas Shamim. He said that with a view to providing quality education to the male and female students of Ghulam Muhammmadabad area up to primary level, Pak Maktab School was established in 1993 and the people of the area had since long been demanding for the upgradation of school.
The case of upgradation was forwarded to the Punjab government and in view of the public requirement for female students' education the department upgraded Pak Maktab School up to middle standard in the first phase.
