Gram down on grain market

Low trading activity was evident on the seed and grain wholesale markets where changes in gram varieties transpired on Tuesday (March 30, 2004).
The price of yellow peas was down Rs 50 to Rs 1540 and better down same amount to Rs 1570, dal yellow peas quoted sharply down at Rs 1650 and better at Rs 1680, beetle chana I down Rs 5 to Rs 1675 and better down same amount to Rs 1705, gram new down Rs 15 to Rs 1575 and better down same amount to Rs 1605, and gram dal down Rs 50 to Rs 1750 and better quoted at Rs 1780.
