The Karachi Port handled 34,822 tonnes of cargo including 26,491 tonnes import and 8,331 tonnes export cargo during last 24 hours ending at 0700 hours on Tuesday.
The cargo comprised of 32,201 tonnes dry and 2,621 tonnes liquid cargo.
Three ships namely Delmas Mauritius, Kota Intan and Nuryan Bu sailed out to sea during the report period.
Five vessels viz Kota Hening, Bunga Kenari, Delmas Mauritius, Kota Wangsa and Diamond Park are currently at the berths.
Corinthiakos expected to sail on Tuesday, while Bunga Kenari is expected to sail on Wednesday.
Two ships namely Eax Sanctity and Apl Mexico due to arrive on Tuesday, while seven vessels viz Global Spirit, Clipper, Hyundai Stride, Tiger Cloud, Patrich, Supertec and Swat are due to arrive on Wednesday.
A total cargo volume of 33,069 tonnes including 20,710 tonnes import and 12,359 tonnes export cargo was handled during last 24 hours ending at 0800 hours on Tuesday.
The cargo comprised of 10,000 tonnes HSD oil and 33,983 tonnes containerised cargo.
Container vessel P&O Nedlloyd Dameita is expected to sail on Tuesday.
A total of two vessels viz P&O Nedlloyd Dameita and M. T. Al Maqwa are currently at the outer anchorage.
Three ships namely MSC Deila, Safmarine Prime and Qem Star due to take berths on Tuesday.
Two vessels viz Khalid Ibn Al Waleed and Chemroad Vega due to arrive on Tuesday, while three more ships namely Stolt Loyalty, Catterick and Eric G Gibson are due to arrive on Wednesday.
