The Chief Justice of Lahore High Court has made transfers and postings of eight senior civil judges after promoting them as additional district and session judge.
The Chief Justice also promoted various district and session judges, additional district and session judges, and civil judges and also appointed 24 new additional district and session judges.
According to a notification issued here, Senior Civil Judge Muhammad Ali Rana has been transferred from Layyah to Muzaffargarh, Muhammad Sharif Janjua from Bhakkar to Bhakkar, Aqil Hassan Chohan from Jhang to Mandi Bahauddin, Abdul Hameed from Khushab to Khushab, Syed Khurshid Anwar Rizvi from Lahore to Lahore, Khizar Hayat from Okara to Okara, Muhammad Amjad from Bahawalpur to Lodhran, Zafar Ullah Khan Tarrar from Sargodha to Sargodha.
The Chief Justice also promoted the following eight additional district & sessions judges as district & session judges: Muhammad Ghulam Sarwar Qadri, Muhammad Ashraf Gill, Shahid Naseer, Muhammad Nawaz Samtiah, Shabbir Hussain Chaudhry, Safdar Hussain Malik, Manzoor Ahmed Mirza and Pervez Ahmad.
The Chief Justice also promoted two district & sessions judges Rao Akbar Ali, and Baqar Ali Rana and two civil judges Asmat Ullah Khan Niazi and Muhammad Javid-ul-Hassan Chishti.
Moreover the Chief Justice appointed 24 new additional district & sessions judges.
They are Aamir Iqbal Basharat, Arshad Mahmood, Ghazanfar Ali Khan, Qasir Nazir Butt, Haroon Latif Khan, Muhammad Qasim, Muhammad Saeed Ullah, Muhammad Akmal Khan, Akhtar Abbas, Mian Masood Hussain, Rehan Bashir, Jafar Hussain, Muhammad Khalik Naz, Nadeem Gulzar, Gabriel Francis, Malik Munir Ahmad Joiya, Muhammad Ibrahim Ashgar, Muhammad Jamshed Iqbal, Khalik Arshad, Malik Khalid Mehmood, Muhammad Naeem Arshad, Miss Bushra Zaman, Muhammad Baksh, Masood Hashmi and Muhammad Rafat Sultan Sheikh.
