Pakistan on Friday bagged five more gold medals on the fourth day of the 9th SAF Games to take their gold medal tally to 19.
India seems to have now taken unassailable lead at the medals table with 42 gold.
On Friday Pakistan earned three gold medals in Wrestling. These were in 74 kg, 84 kg and 96 kg categories by Muhammad Ali, Muhammad Usman and Muhammad Umar.
Silver medals by Pakistani grapplers were also won in 60 kg, 66 kg and 120 kg categories by Muhammad Farooq, Zahid Khan and Muhammad Bashir Bhola Bhala.
Pakistani athlete Naushad Khan kept Pakistan's flag high in the 5000 meters race by wining the gold medal.
The other gold medal of the day was won by Pakistan in squash. The aggregate medal tally of Pakistan now stands at 60 which includes 26 silver and 15 bronze medals.
India continued to maintain its overall supremacy of the games when she won all the four gold medals at stake in shooting on Friday.
Their women athletes won gold in shot put and long jump.
The Indians also claimed gold, in swimming and weightlifting India is No 1 in aggregate medals tally with 64 medals, which include 14 silver and 8 bronze.
Sri Lanka with three gold, 13 silver and 17 bronze is placed at number three spot.
Bhutan and Maldives are yet to earn a medal.
On Friday, Indian women swept the 50m small-bore free-rifle 3x20 shooting event by winning all the three medals at Pakistan Sports Complex.
Meena Kumari scored 678.8 points to clinch the gold medal, followed by Raj Kumari who managed 673.1 points for her Silver medal.
Their third compatriot, Kuheli Gangulee bagged the bronze medal by scoring 663.2 points.
Sri Lanka's Pushpa Mali stood fourth with 662.4 points while Nadia Saeed and Urooj Fatima scored 649.4 and 648.8 points for fifth and sixth position.
India clinched another gold by winning the 10m air-pistol 60-shots men's event at the Pakistan Sports Complex.
Pakistan bagged the silver while the bronze medal went to Sri Lanka in the same event
In women's shooting team event, India grabbed a gold medal in 50m small-bore free rifle 3x20 shots contest.
The Indian trio of Meena, Raj Kumari and Kuheli scored 578, 575 and 568 points respectively in a total of 1721 to clinch the gold medal.
Pakistan followed with a silver medal with Nadia Saeed, Urooj Fatima and Nazish Khan scoring a combined total of 1662. Ms Seeed topped with 560 points.
Fawzia, Suraiya and Shabina registered a combined total of 1641 points to win bronze medal for Bangladesh.
Bangladesh have done well in the 10-day sports gala so far by winning 22 medals but have just two golds to their credit as Indian and Pakistani athletes continue to dominate the fight for top honours.
