The convener of Machinery, Tools and Hardware Standing Committee of Lahore Chamber of Commerce and Industry's (LCCI), Sheikh Shafiq Riaz, has sent a legal notice to The Founders' chairman Pervez Hanif and Tahir Chaudhry of Liver Engineering Industries.
Advising them through a press briefing, Shafiq Riaz, who was also Pakistan Hosiery Manufacturers Association (PHMA) Punjab's ex-chairman, said in the notice to withdraw within a week the allegations leveled against him.
He also directed them to pay Rs 500 million as compensation within one week, otherwise he would be constrained to initiate criminal as well as civil litigation against them.
