The Coca-Cola Quality System Award ceremony was held here on Tuesday at the Company's plant in which its three bottling plants-Lahore, Gujranwala and Rahim Yar Khan received the prestigious international quality award.
A spokesman of the company said that the Coca-Cola Quality System Award is an awards programme that promotes greater productivity, increases efficiency, reduces raw material waste and further enhances product quality for all customers and consumers all over the world including Pakistan.
The Company has more than 2,123 plants world-wide. Out of these, 56 plants have been given this prestigious award till date. Today in Pakistan, Lahore, Gujranwala and Rahim Yar Khan Plants have also joined this prestigious club by becoming 57th, 58th and 59th plants respectively to receive this award.
"Winning the Coca-Cola Quality System Award is indeed a very great honour for any plant." declared the Eurasia & Middle East Division President of the Coca-Cola Company, Ahmet C. Bozer, who had, especially, flown in from Turkey for the award ceremony.
