The closing ceremony of the 9th South Asian Federation (SAF) Games-2004 will be held here on Wednesday at Jinnah Sports Complex.
Prime Minister Mir Zafarullah Khan Jamali will be the chief guest on the occasion.
To beef up security apparatus, the troops of Pakistan Army, Rangers, Frontier Constabulary and ICT police have been deployed in and around the vicinity of Pakistan Sports Complex. Security officials will also use sniffer dogs for averting any act of sabotage.
The SAF secretariat official said that the closing ceremony would be more attractive and colourful than the opening ceremony.
The 9th SAF games was started in Islamabad on March 29 and continued for about 9 days.
Afghanistan, Bangladesh, Bhutan, India, Maldives, Nepal, Pakistan and Sri Lank participated in the event.
