PML leader's Hamid Nasir Chattha and Lieutenant General Majeed Malik (Retd), Senior Vice President of the party, called on Prime Minister Mir Zafarullah Khan Jamali separately in his chamber at the Parliament House on Tuesday.
They discussed with him issues relating to re-unification of the party besides measures to further strengthen democratic institutions in the country.
Prime Minister Jamali said that the government was taking the right steps for greater political stability and continuity of democratic system in the country.
The two leaders discussed with the Prime Minister political matters with specific reference to the efforts launched recently for re-unification of various factions of the Pakistan Muslim League.
They also exchanged views on matters relating to the ongoing development schemes in their respective areas and their timely completion.
