Tanners Association (SZ) Chairman Mian Ahson Elahi has acknowledged the co-operation extended by Karachi Electric Supply Corporation (KESC) on Eid-ul-Azha, which is peak tanning season.
In a statement, Ahson Elahi also praised the usual facility of a mobile squad provided by the KESC exclusively for the tannery zone to ensure smooth and undisrupted power supply on the occasion.
He said the Karachi Electric Supply Corporation facility had helped to process the Qurbani skins and hides, which accumulated in hundreds of thousands on Eid-ul-Azha and to protect them from getting soft and damaged.
He lauded the KESC assistance at the crucial peak tanning period, and also appreciated the Karachi Electric Supply Corporation high officials for the co-operative attitude towards the exporting leather and made-ups industry.
He expressed hope that the co-operation would continue in days as well in the interest of overall national economy.-PR
