Punjab government is actively considering to establish 'Job Banks' in each district headquarters in the province.
Official sources told Business Recorder here on Saturday that the proposed job banks would be set up under human resource board.
The step is being taken to mitigate the problems and fulfil the requirements of jobless educated, skilled and semi-skilled persons at local level.
The government has focused its attention on scaling down the unemployment graph in the province.
The proposed job banks would assist and provide guidance to the jobless educated, skilled and semi-skilled persons, sources added.
