Federal Minister for Industries and Production, Liaquat Ali Jatoi, said here on Saturday that his ministry has summoned a meeting of advisory committee of the ministry on April 14 in Islamabad to discuss all issues pertaining to investment and industrialisation and making recommendations for next budget.
This he said while talking to a delegation of North Karachi Association of Trade and Industry (NKATI) who called on him. He asked the association to send its representative to attend the meeting of the advisory committee to present its problems and suggestions.
He agreed with the delegation members that export-oriented industries should be provided all necessary facilities for smooth running.
He assured the delegation members that he would pursue the concerned officials in Sindh government and the city district government for resolution of their problems.
He said he would personally discuss their issues with governor and chief minister of Sindh, he added
Jatoi told the association leaders that he would also take up their problems pertaining to banks and others with concerned federal authorities.
Saddiq Muhammad, Chairman NKATI, Captain A Moiz Khan, and S Azim Alam were present in the meeting.
