Chairman, All Parties Hurriyat Conference (APHC), Syed Ali Gilani has said that India is not sincere in resolving the Kashmir issue and its statement of holding talks are the result of international pressure.
In an interview to BBC Radio, he said, no change is visible in the Indian policy on Kashmir.
"There is no impression that India is sincere in resolving the Kashmir issue or any change has taken place in Indian policy on Kashmir," he said.
He said, there is no sign that India is thinking of a change in its policy of forcibly occupying the Kashmir adding, their statement of holding talks are the result of international pressure.
To a question about recent Indian stance for ongoing peace process, he said, "There is no reality in its stance and is an attempt to buy time."
Ali Gilani said, when state assembly elections were held in Gujarat Indian rulers used Pakistan-enmity card and now they are using Pakistan friendship card to get votes from the people who are not prepared to vote for the BJP.
In past, he said, the Indian rulers misused the people's participation in the elections.
He said, the people take part in past elections to get their problems resolved but the Indians say they have cast their vote in favour of India. The entire world knows how India used the 2002 election for its political ends, he added.
