Women Chamber of Commerce and Industry (WCCI) has launched its fourth chapter at Multan after Lahore, Karachi and Islamabad.
Aneela Khan has appointed as co-ordinator of Multan chapter.
The WCCI chief operating officer Omer Aftab, terming it a positive development, in a statement here on Monday, said that WCCI would provide a boost to women entrepreneurs in Multan and help promote their business.
Bahawalpur, Rahim Yar Khan and Multan regions were known the world over for their exquisite art and handicrafts, he observed.
He said that WCCI would help to provide a strong business base and impart training to women entrepreneurs of Multan area on 'product identification and development' so that they might compete in the international market and contribute to exports, he added.
