CEC appoints appellate tribunals

Chief Election Commissioner (CEC) Chief Justice Irshad Hasan Khan (Retd) on Wednesday appointed the Appellate Tribunals comprising Judges of High Courts for disposal of appeals against the decision of the returning officers for rejecting or accepting the nomination papers of the candidates for bye-elections for National and Provincial Assembly constituencies.
Justice M. Javed Buttar and Justice Muhammad Muzammal Khan of Lahore High Court have been appointed as Appellate Tribunal For NA-89 Jhang-IV.
Justice Nazir Ahmad Siddiqui and Justice Sheikh Hakim Ali from Bahawalpur Bench have been appointed as Appellate Tribunal for NA-196 Rahimyar Khan-V.
Justice Mushir and Justice Zawar Jaffery of Sindh High Court have been appointed Appellate Tribunals for NA-240 Karachi-II, NA-243 Karachi-V, NA-246 Karachi, VIII and PS-127 Karachi-XXXIX.
Justice Anwar Zaheer and Justice Mujibullah Siddiqui of Hyderabad Bench have been appointed as Appellate Tribunals for NA-236 Sanghar-III.
Justice Zia Pervez and Justice Maqbool Baqar from Sukkur Bench have been appointed as Appellate Tribunals for PS-31 Khairpur-III.
