Initial work on distribution of state land among landless farmers has been initiated and would be completed by May 15.
Executive district officer (EDO) Revenue, Mohammed Hameedullah Sheikh said this while presiding over a meeting here on Wednesday.
The meeting was apprised that 12-acre land would be distributed among landless farmers, while residents of Jinnah colony would be allotted 5 Marla plots for residential purposes.
A directory of the state land of district RYK has been finalised which gives details of all the land given on lease or allotted under various schemes.
