It is a matter of immense pride for Pakistan to be holding the International Garment, Textile and Leather Machinery, Accessories & Fabrics Exhibition for the 3rd time in as many years.
Such events provide an ideal platform to the industry professionals for interacting in a focused environment and the exchange of ideas and technology between developing countries, such as Pakistan, with the developed countries.
Since textiles form an integral part of Pakistan's economy, it is essential that all necessary steps be taken to improve this sector through better technology and manufacturing processes.
I would like to extend a warm welcome to the organisers and all exhibitors, especially those coming from overseas and sincerely hope that their stay in Pakistan would be very pleasant and their participation rewarding and commercially viable.
I would also like to express my special thanks to all the Turkish companies taking part in this exhibition and to the Textile Machinery Manufacturers Association (TEMSAD) of Turkey for supporting this event.
