Pakistan Bedwear Exporters Association, being a premier association representing the Pakistani textile sector, takes pride at the holding of IGATEX Pakistan 2004 for the third time in Pakistan.
Since the huge success of IGATEX 2003, which brought the Textile Machinery Manufactures at our door step and greatly facilitated the industry in Pakistan to witness and evaluate the performance of various machineries in operation, which I am sure would result in rewarding orders for the exhibitors.
Pakistan, being amongst the leading exporters of Bedwear in the world today, continuously seeks to improve the quality of its products and also to develop new products to achieve the higher value addition to keep its export figures going up steadily, while trade barriers like the Anti - Dumping Duties are in place.
I am sure that holding of IGATEX Pakistan 2004, would have a positive impact on the exports and would facilitate in achieving our short to long term goals of economic growth and stability in the country.
I also hope that the international visitors at this exhibition will find their participation most effective as Pakistan offers a market-based economy coupled with a growing industrial base, especially relating to the textile sector.
I wish the organisers of IGATEX Pakistan 2004 every success and hope that such events of international repute will keep finding Pakistan as a gateway to international trade and friendship.
