Bull snatched the floor from the bears at the Islamabad Stock Exchange (ISE) where fresh buying spree in hot favourite moved the entire ready-board in upward direction amid broad-based recovery.
ISE network index showed an increase of 168.20 points as the composite index moved from 11,385.47 to 11,553.67 points.
The overall turnover amounted to 69,020,00 shares as compared to the previous volume of 10,146,700 shares.
Total 132 companies participated in buying and selling activity. Majority of stocks (74) closed in the positive territory, 57 showed negative signs, while one company remained pegged to its previous level.
The turnover of OGDCL was 4,605,000 shares as compared to the previous volume of 6,244,000 shares.
The volume of Fauji Fertiliser was 713,000 shares as compared to the previous turnover of 841,500 shares. The turnover of PTCL was 672,500 shares.
