Pakistan Railways (PR) has completed computerised ticketing on as many as 40 trains on it's computer network in an attempt to provide computerised ticketing on all reserved seats.
According to a spokesman of the Pakistan Railways, utilising the state-of-the-art fiber optics networking technology has added Hyderabad reservation office to its network. Other stations on the network are Peshawar, Rawalpindi, Lahore, Lahore Cantt, Faisalabad, Quetta, Karachi Cantt and Karachi City.
Computerised ticketing and return reservations facilities are available on above-mentioned network.
Other stations are also likely to be given computerised reservation network in future, the spokesman concluded.
