The educational activities here are suffering a lot as the seat of Assistant District Education Officer Kotri is lying vacant since the dispute between two education officers Kotri a week back.
This was stated by Ismail Leghari the chairman of Primary Education Alliance Kotri while addressing news conference here on Saturday.
Giving details of incident he said that on April 19, 2004 at 11 a. m. one Irshad Hussain Brohi came to office of ADO Education Kotri Anwar Khoso and asked him to vacate the seat as he has been transferred as ADO Kotri.
He said that more than 20 armed men who accompanied Irshad Brohi dragged Anwer Khoso from his chair and beat him mercilessly. Ismail told that he and some other teachers were at that time present in office of ADO Kotri who were also beaten by the armed men of Irshad Brohi.
The chairman of Primary Education Alliance Kotri told newsmen that being injured Anwar Khoso was taken to hospital while those who attacked ran away.
He said since then one officer was injured and unable to perform duty while the other was being chased by police and had gone underground.
He alleged that Executive District Officer Dadu Ghulam Mustafa Kalhoro was involved in the attack, which was made on his instigation. He demanded action against both Irshad Brohi and Ghulam Mustafa Kalhoro for the loss to education being suffered due to their politics in education.
