Egypt's state Holding Company for Food Industries (HCFI) said on Tuesday it was seeking 15,000 tonnes of Malaysian or Indonesian sunoil and 7,500 tonnes of palm stern to arrive in the first half of June.
Bids are due by noon (1000 GMT) on Tuesday, May 4 with prices quoted in C&F terms for arrival in the ports of Alexandria or el-Dikheila, an HCFI official told Reuters.
The state-owned company bought 15,000 tonnes of palm oil at $587.00 per tonne C&F and 7,500 tonnes of palm stern at $534.00 per tonne C&F on April 7.
