Chairman Senate Muhammadmian Soomro has ruled out the possibility of any major change in the existing structure of the government, dissolution of assemblies nor Prime Minister is being replaced.
Talking to newsmen at Taunsa Sharif after offering Fateha at the shrine of Khawaja Shah Suleman Taunsvi.
He said that joint session of the parliament would be convened after budget session and there is no possibility of joint session before budget session.
He said that existing assemblies would complete their tenure and these would not be dissolved in near future as was being propagated by the opposition. Replaying to a question he said that he was fully satisfied with the performance of the upper house.
Talking about Kashmir, senate chairman said that these problems would be resolved very soon and every decision would be taken in the larger national interest.
On public demand, chairman assured that he would convince the Punjab Chief Minister Chaudhry Pervaiz Elahi to upgrade Taunsa Sharif as district to meet an outstanding demand of the people of this area where literacy rate is more than 80 percent.
