Adamjee Insurance will hold an annual general meeting (AGM) on Thursday, to approve the accounts for the year 2002 and 2003 following the approval from the Supreme Court and Securities and Exchange Commission of Pakistan (SECP).
The company will hold its board meeting on Thursday to approve the financial results for the first quarter ended March 31.
The annual general meeting would be held after the Supreme Court allowed last month that the acquisition of shares by the Muslim Commercial Bank (MCB) in the Adamjee Insurance was within the permissible limit and the bank could take part in the election of directors at the AGM.
