A woman died in a bomb explosion while three suspected freedom fighters were killed in separate incidents in Indian occupied Kashmir Saturday, three days before the next round of polling for national elections.
A frontline freedom fighter group also warned activists campaigning for Indian Kashmir's two main political parties in the elections they will not be "forgiven".
A woman was killed in a bomb blast in Dialgam village in Anantnag district, police said. Polling is due in Anantnag on May 5. In another incident in the south occupied Kashmir district of Rajouri, three suspected freedom fighters were killed in an encounter with occupation security forces, police said.
Freedom fighters earlier warned Kashmiris of "unspecified consequences" if they took part in the polls, saying they would not resolve the future of the Himalayan territory, held in part by India and Pakistan but claimed in full by both.
The freedom fighter threat came amid more overnight violence in which five people died.
