The Institute of Architects Pakistan (IAP) Rawalpindi-Islamabad chapter arranged a debate on 'New Dimensions in Architecture' here on Thursday.
The debate was participated by leading architects of the country besides the students of National College of Arts (NCA) and the University of Engineering and Technology (UET) Lahore.
The participants deliberated upon the future of architecture and construction industry in Pakistan and gave many suggestions in this regard.
The experienced architects gave detailed review of new dimensions to young students for research in the field to set their careers on modern lines in the profession.
IAP chairman, Hamid Hussain said that the institute is endeavouring to promote the identity of Pakistan through architecture.
More such discussions will be held in the future for young architects to modernise this art, he added.
