Politics of revenge was being practised in the country ruthlessly and the government was still harassing PML (N) leaders and workers even after sending back Shahbaz Sharif.
Muhammad Pervaiz Malik, MNA and a PML (N) leader, expressed these views in a statement here on Monday.
According to him, the PML (N) leaders and workers were still behind the bars and it was a false claim on the part of the government that the workers have been freed. Democracy could not flourish by harassing the opposition through police and agencies, perhaps the government was deliberately spreading fear just not to pave the way of real democracy.
